VEDA: Video Every Day in April & VEDA #1&2

Hi again! I just learned about a YouTube challenge called VEDA, which is where people commit to Vlogging daily or uploading a video daily for the month of April. I think this is a very cool idea and while I know I can't commit to Vlogging daily specifically (I am seriously just not that interesting!) I am for sure going to do my best to upload a video or stream every day this month.

While I have a few ideas, the videos I'm going to upload won't have any theme or specific rhyme or reason to them, it'll just be whatever I happen to feel like doing that day. I hope you'll stop by on a regular basis to check out what I've got going on and be sure to click subscribe and the bell icon to be notified quickly of new posts.

If you missed my day 1 video for VEDA I posted part one of a Haul of Zelda loot I picked up. Check it out on my channel or on this blog post [click here].

For day #2 I'm finally posting the unboxing for my Horizon Zero Dawn Collector's Edition. I got the video filmed right away but just got behind as far as editing. My wife is slacking at editing and I'm still learning how to use Premiere Pro so it's slow going on my end, plus real life seems to be getting in the way lately. On that note Sorry for my tardiness and I hope you enjoy the video and Until Next time,

Take Care

Damaged Goods - Nier Automata Collector's Edition Unboxing

Hey guys, I'm back with another Collector's Edition Unboxing. This time it is for Nier: Automata. Unfortunately while I am happy with the set itself, the quality of each included item is amazing with one exception. My copy arrived Damaged. When you pay so much for an item you really expect it to arrive in a timely fashion, and without any damage. I'd say this is something that happened in the shipping-delivery process but where it is located it couldn't have been as the outer box was in great shape. This is clearly a Quality Control issue where damaged units are not being weeded out of the batch and are being sent out to the consumer. After price, conversion, tax, shipping, and import costs, I've shelled out well in excess of $350 on this game and to not receive it in pristine condition makes me really angry. I haven't contacted SquareEnix about it yet but I'll have to do that and see what offer they make regarding replacement or other compensation for it. I most definitely am not willing to ship it back for replacement because I'll be dinged for the import fees when a new one is delivered to me racking up the cost of this even further. Check out the unboxing video posted below and let me know what you would do in the comments, or on social media. Did you buy Nier: Automata Collector's Edition too and was yours damaged? I'm curious to see if this was an isolated incident or if it is a widespread issue than I realize.

Don't forget to subscribe to me on YouTube, and follow me on my other social media platforms (links in the sidebar) to see new unboxings, and be notified when I post.

Til' next time, Take Care.
