Hey everyone, I'm back again for a VEDA Catch up blog. Aside from streaming it's been pretty quiet lately, My bathroom flooded 3 days in a row which sucked in so many ways, my wife has be re-making all of my thumbnails to give my channel a more cohesive style, I'm looking at some artists to do some work on new channel branding, working with the wife to do some shiny new overlays for my videos, and TRYING to get OBS to work with my camera, microphone and PS4 streaming correctly with the Elgato. It has been brutal. I can't seem to get Game audio through to OBS when using the headset but when I use speakers my microphone picks up the tv and I just discovered that a few of my Horizon videos have some echo from that. I've put Horizon on the back burner until that can be fixed. I've been looking into some rewards programs for people who watch my streams as I really do enjoy giving back to the community when I can and I think it could be a lot of fun. Today's VEDA is a live stream of the Dragon Quest Heroes II Demo which comes out April 25th, 2017. This was a really fun demo though I have yet to play the first one [which I own]. This demo has definitely sparked my interest and eagerness to finally start playing the first one and I'm anticipating the sequel's release. Hey guys, I'm back with another Collector's Edition Unboxing. This time it is for Nier: Automata. Unfortunately while I am happy with the set itself, the quality of each included item is amazing with one exception. My copy arrived Damaged. When you pay so much for an item you really expect it to arrive in a timely fashion, and without any damage. I'd say this is something that happened in the shipping-delivery process but where it is located it couldn't have been as the outer box was in great shape. This is clearly a Quality Control issue where damaged units are not being weeded out of the batch and are being sent out to the consumer. After price, conversion, tax, shipping, and import costs, I've shelled out well in excess of $350 on this game and to not receive it in pristine condition makes me really angry. I haven't contacted SquareEnix about it yet but I'll have to do that and see what offer they make regarding replacement or other compensation for it. I most definitely am not willing to ship it back for replacement because I'll be dinged for the import fees when a new one is delivered to me racking up the cost of this even further. Check out the unboxing video posted below and let me know what you would do in the comments, or on social media. Did you buy Nier: Automata Collector's Edition too and was yours damaged? I'm curious to see if this was an isolated incident or if it is a widespread issue than I realize.
