Hey everyone, I've got a bunch of Bottle Cap codes for Pokemon Sun & Moon so I though I'd share them with you all in hopes that they can get some use. I have quite a few and so I'll split them up. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Haul [VEDA #28]

Nintendo Direct Round Up Part 2

My initial post about the Nintendo Direct was getting quite long so I decided it was best to split into 2 for loading purposes. If you missed part one click here to check it out.

Nintendo Switch:

Arms June 16 - We got some new information and footage from ARMS today. We heard about the different types of Weaponized hands attached to your arms characters. Heavy Type, Standard Glove Type, Multi-shot, Curve Type to name a few. Each arm has a special attribute that activates when charged up including Fire, Electric, Ice, Explosion, Stun, Blind and Wind. The in game currency you get when you fight allows you to get new arms. The more you fight, the more you win. The more you win, the bigger you can grow your arsenal. Mix and match any 2 of your available Arms to change your strategy. A new fighter named Minmin was shown and dubbed the "Ramen Bomber". Her left arm can transform into a dragon which my love of dragons tells me is very cool. Spring Man can emit a shock wave to deflect enemy punches.  We then saw some game footage of Spring Man and Minmin doing battle demonstrating different fighter abilities, and weapon combinations. Neon Yellow Joy Cons & Straps

Yellow Joy-Con & Straps June 16 - Alongside the release of ARMS we will see a new color of Joy-con and it's matching strap in Neon Yellow. These vibrant controllers are an excellent addition to any Neon Switch owner's collection and a fun add on for everyone regardless of whether you chose the Classic Grey Switch or the Neon. Unfortunately, like all the controllers the in box straps with the yellow Joy-cons are standard gray so you will have to shell out even more money to get the matching Yellow ones. [PRE ORDER JOY-CON - NEON YELLOW HERE: CANADA/USA][PRE ORDER JOY-CON STRAP - NEON YELLOW HERE: CANADA/USA]

Battery Pack

Joy-con Battery Pack June 16 - This add on peripheral for your Joy-con is being touted as "extending the battery life" of your Joy-con which is "nice to have when you want to play a long time without charging", but to be honest, if it is just an attachment to add in 2 AA Batteries that not worth my money. I really wish they had made it a re-chargeable battery pack as I think that would be so much more useful to the majority of people looking for this type of add on.[PRE ORDER BATTERY PACK HERE: CANADA/USA]

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe April 28 - Features New courses, and a huge battle mode with new battle courses. We got a little bit more information about the multiplayer and online which told us that we will be able to play in 2 modes including race and battle. You will also be able to play with Friends in a friend room where you make the rules. There is also an option to create your very own tournament and Nintendo will be hosting 2 (one for race and one for battle mode) of its own to celebrate the launch of the game. Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers May 26 - Play this

iteration of the classic game in either new HD or Original Pixel style graphics. Featuring all your old favorite characters as well as 2 new ones (Evil Ryu and Violent Ken) the roster features 19 playable characters. You will be able to play in local or online multiplayer modes. In the new and exciting Way of the Hado mode lets you use your motion controllers to perform Hadoken, Shoryuken and other special moves in your living room. An interesting feature but for those of you who love the classic way of playing it might not be for you! It will also feature a co-op multiplayer where you and a friend share a health bar to take down the CPU.

Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition May 11(e-shop only) - Minecraft is one of the most popular games of all time. Now you will be able to explore, build and create your story on the Nintendo Switch in both survival and creative modes. Online multiplayer will allow you and 7 of your friends to play together, and 4 can play together in local multiplayer on the TV in split screen or tabletop modes. You can play this with the Joy-cons or the Pro Controller. Nintendo Fans will be happy to hear that the Super Mario Mash Up pack including skins and textures from the Mario universe will launch on the Nintendo Switch. Minecraft will be available on the E-Shop on May 11 and retail at a later date. 

NeoGeo Arcade Archives - Arcade Classics from Neo Geo will be coming to the E-Shop starting with Samurai Showdown IV: Amakusa's Revenge which will be available tomorrow. Fatal Fury, Blazing Star, Garou: Mark of the Wolves, King of Fighters '99, Galaxy Fight: Universal Warriors, Shock Troopers 2nd Squad and Over Top were also shown.

Sonic Forces Holiday 2017 / Sonic Mania Summer - This modern take on Sonic will see Sonic and a mysterious new ally team up in 3D to take on the Nefarious Eggman as he tries once again to cause mayhem with his new power. Before this releases however we will see Sonic Mania release in a classic 2D style of game. More than 20 years have passed since the last installment of this style Sonic game. We will see souped up versions of old favorite stages as well as new ones. However you choose just remember: You Gotta Go Fast!

Project Mekuru (Title not final) Summer - This action puzzle game will pit you head to head against others while you try to flip panels over to your color by slamming them in something akin to a ground pound. Flip the most panels, and you'll win. Play locally with your friends or online against people around the world. 

Fate/Extella The Umbral Star July 25 -  Lead a mythical servant against hordes of enemies in this beautiful looking but intense action game. You'll go against thousands of enemies all by yourself using incredible power as one of several classes including Saber, Archer and Caster to name a few. Chain Strong and weak attacks to create combos on the battle field this summer. 

Disgaea 5 Complete May 23 - We got an extremely short clip from Disgaea where they told us we will follow princess overlord Seraphina of the Netherworld and the demonic wanderer Killia on a quest for revenge in this tactical game, and that was pretty much it. A demo will be available for play soon from the e-shop and a limited and standard edition will be available at launch.

Puyo Puyo Tetris Available soon - A 4 player mash up puzzle game with Tetris and Puyo Pyuo (which is very popular in Japan). Each game (Tetris/Puyo Puyo) will have a different play style - Tetris completing lines will clear them, Puyo Puyo similarly has connecting to clear but instead of lines we have to create groups of Puyos to clear them. Create chains to sabotage your opponents. A demo will be on the e-shop today to give you a taste of solo arcade, multiplayer arcade and lessons modes.

You can connect 2 consoles for local co-op or pit up to 8 teams against each other. Whether you've played Rayman Legends before or are new to the game you're bound to have a great time. 




Sine Mora Ex Summer - This tale of honor and morality contains local co-op and versus modes and is an arcade shooter. The clip for this was very short and didn't tell us much at all.  

Battle Chasers: Nightwar Summer - An RPG inspired by console classics and the Battle Chasers comic book series you'll will explore dungeons in this turn based games battle system. 

Payday 2 2017 - You and 3 other players can join together and try to rise to the top of the criminal underworld. The higher you rise in the organization the bigger the jobs and the bigger the paydays. Use the cash you earn to customize your character. A huge amount of content is supposedly set to release on the switch but let's hope that it doesn't go the way of the other console releases that left fans waiting with little to no reward.

Namco Museum Summer - Some of the most popular Namco games from years past are headed to the Nintendo Switch. Soon you'll be able to take games like Pac-Man, Galaga or Splatterhouse any where you go, while multiplayer games like Rolling Thunder and Sky Kid are great to play via local co-op with family and friends. Choose from standard horizontal display or switch to vertical for that classic arcade feeling. Bring on the Nostalgia this summer. 

Nintendo Dock Standalone Accessory May 19 - Mid May we will see

limited numbers of the standalone Nintendo Switch Dock become available at retailers. This is a fantastic option for those of you who want a second dock so you don't have to disconnect your whole Switch set up every time you want to switch to different Televisions, or if you want a separate one to take with you. Unfortunately they didn't tell us just how limited these numbers are, but if I know Nintendo be on the look out for pre-orders starting Now. I hope that limited numbers is simply because of production time and isn't going to be a trend for this item.

Splatoon 2 July 21- There's been a lot of Splatoon 2 information out there but we learned today that Battlfy will be hosting a Splatoon 2 Tournament for those of you who are lucky enough to be 18+ years old and reside in the United States. Be on the lookout for more information about this soon!

Further to that information we learned about a new mode in Splatoon 2 called Salmon Run. This mode pits you against waves of  NPC monsters (chum) and tough Fish Bosses (Steelhead). Use a lifesaver to indicate you need revived when a Boss knocks you out. Collect Eggs in teams of 4 while wearing special gear for this mode. Communicating with your team to defeat these difficult bosses is key to allow you to earn Golden Eggs. Take your eggs and fill the container to complete your objective and earn some "fresh" rewards. 
New Splatoon Amiibo (as seen on part 1 of this post) will be released as well. Tap them to befriend them in game and they will remember your settings and gear. Take pictures with them and share them via the Nintendo Switch album on social media. You may even get special gear from your new amiibo friends.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Amiibo Rewards

Hey everyone. with the release of Breath of the Wild, there is a bit of Zelda fever going on. I've made a couple of Haul videos showcasing some of the cool new loot you can buy at various stores, for both your Switch and yourself to help get fully decked out in Zelda apparel and gear. There are some really nice shirts, keychains and other baubles to satisfy your Zelda addiction. On my first Haul video I mentioned I'd post the Amiibo function in the description box, but when I started writing it up, I realized it was just too much to fit in the little box, so I figured I'd write it up here and just link to it.

Anyhow, on to the main feature of this post: AMIIBO FUNCTIONS!

The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild supports all of the currently released Amiibo, and all Amiibo Cards. Zelda related amiibo have special features and all the rest do the same thing. Sime Items are only available after certain progressions in the story such as getting the paraglider/beating a divine beast, which is a cool feature because it keeps you from getting higher powered weapons right at the start and keeps it interesting as far as scanning amiibos throughout your game progression.

Be sure to wait until you are at a stable or can get to one safely before scanning this amiibo for the first time! Subsequent Scans will get you a chance for an exclusive item, rare items, and cooking ingredients.

Wolf Link

Wolf Link arguably has the coolest Amiibo Function as he Spawns a companion to fight along side you in the form of Wolf Link himself. Wolf Link will have however many hearts your Wolf Link Amiibo has stored from previous saves of Twilight Princess HD. If you have never played Twilight Princess he will spawn with 3 Hearts.

Wolf link will attack any foe you attack, or those that attack you. He will eat raw meat that is dropped on the ground to heal his hearts, so make sure you use the "stay" command if you don't want that Gourmet Raw Meat snatched up!

Wolf Link will de-spawn if he runs out of hearts, you enter a shrine and I believe when entering towns as well, and can be respawned one time per real life day.

Majoras Mask Link

  Hey there, I know it's been several days since I last blogged, but to be honest, I haven't had much that was newsworthy to share. I worked, got my car repaired, worked some more, spent some time with the family, and basically just did the day to day mundane tasks of life. As far as being online and working toward my goals for the year, I spent some time starting to plan out my streaming schedule and I've got a couple of ideas for blog posts in the works as well.
